Organic products

Prabhu Estate is certified by the Control Union World Group (CU802035EU) and has been fully converted into organic since 2004. We grow coffee (mainly robusta, little arabica), rice (Dhodi, Jeera Sana), spices (pepper, cardamom, vanilla), a variety of fruits (banana, pineapple, butterfruit) and flowers (Anthurium, Heliconia, Musa, Ginger flowers). 

Our products are marketed under the brandname 'Life'. For the packing we use paper and degradable plastic whenever possible. The shelflife of our flowers is between 10 and 20 days and we send them packed in boxes by bus.

Farmstay

Our estate lies close to the holy river Cauvery that origins in the mountains of Kodagu. Here its water is still clean and flowing undisturbed between forested slopes. In our farm we provide accommodation in two guest rooms with attached bathroom each.

The fee of Rs 1500 per person per night includes three meals and afternoon coffee/tea. Our food is organic as far as possible. We do NOT have TV, music player, alcohol, smoking and personalized service around the clock. 

The idea is to give you a true experience of nature.

Pickup from the closest town (Virajpet) with frequent bus connections to Bangalore/Mysore can be organised.
